Turkey Feathers
Turkey feathers are a whole different, but wonderful experience to paint on. I have to use a magnifying glass to see what I'm doing. When I go for walks, I'm always watching for feathers on the ground to help enhance the pieces I create. Local hunters are so very generous with their feathers from ducks, pheasants and of course, the turkeys. Our local hunting/wildlife organizations are always happy when I donate a feather. The least amount one has fetched from an auction is $100.
Feather prices begin at $90. They will arrive unframed but must be framed as soon as possible to preserve the artwork and the feather. Email for more information.
